How much does it cost to rent a 4×4 in Uganda? Rates depend on the vehicle type, rental duration, and whether you want a driver-guide included. Documents and Eligibility
Who can drive a rental 4×4 car in Uganda? Any driver must present a valid driver’s license at pickup. If more than one person will be driving, all drivers must provide their license and ID in advance. We require drivers to be between 23 and 70 years old, with a license held for at least two years.
What documents do I need to rent a 4×4? A valid driver’s license, a national ID or passport, and a credit card or cash for the security deposit. Foreign nationals should also carry an International Driving Permit.
Do I need an International Driving Permit? Yes, if you’re a foreign national. We recommend arranging this before you travel, as it can’t be obtained locally in Uganda.
